Dulux Select Decorators – 2021 Awards
Terms & Conditions
1. By entering into these awards Participants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
2. Each category winner will receive £500 worth of Dulux Decorator Centre vouchers and an onsite photoshoot with a professional photographer appointed by AkzoNobel. The Grand winner will receive a year’s supply of Dulux Trade Diamond Products to the value of £5,000,opportunity to feature in Dulux Select Decorator and / or Dulux Trade advertisements.
3. The promotion is open to professional decorators who are current members of the Dulux Select Decorators Scheme and resident in the United Kingdom (including Northern Ireland, Channel Islands and Isle of Man, excluding Republic of Ireland) (“Participants”) and excludes employees of the AkzoNobel group of companies (the “Companies”) or employees of any participating stores, their families or agents or any other person connected with the promotion.
4. To enter the awards complete the entry form online at www.duluxselectawards.com submitting all the required information by 30th September 2021 the (“closing date”).
5. Participants must have completed work of a domestic nature, only used AkzoNobel products for the work, undertaken and completed the work within the 14 months up to and including 30th September 2021.
6. Participants must have obtained consent of the Homeowner to enter the work done in their home into the promotion and for the Companies to use any photos supplied with entries in any marketing or advertising by the Companies for entries to be eligible for winning the prizes. It is the Participants responsibility to seek the Homeowner approval prior to submitting entry.
7. Entries will only be accepted via the official online entry form via www.duluxselectawards.com
8. No responsibility will be accepted for entries that are incomplete or corrupted.
9. The promotion applies to the jobs 1st July 2020 – 30th September 2021.
10. Shortlisted entries will be announced by 1st November 2021 and the final prize winners will be notified and announced by 1st December 2021.
11. In the event of any dispute the decision of the Promoter is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
12. The is no cash alternative for the prizes and the prizes cannot be redeemed for cash.
13. The prize winners may be asked to participate in future publicity or PR activities including the taking and publication of photographs. By participating in this promotion, participants agree to take part in future publicity.
14. The Promoter reserves the right to amend or withdraw this promotion in whole or in part without prior notice or compensation
15. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for an loss or damage caused by the negligence of the Promoter, it’s employees or agents out of or in connection with the Promotion except where caused by the willful neglect of the Promoter, its employees or agents. Nothing in this clause is deemed to exclude or restrict liability for death or personal injury resulting from the negligence of the Promoter, its employees or agents.

17. The promotion is governed by the law of England and Wales and is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

20. Data protection. The Promoter is committed to protecting the privacy of participants. Any information connecting in conjunction with this promotion will only be used by the Promoter or its agents future marketing and promotion purposes and will not be passed onto any thirds parties other than agents instructed by the Promoter in connection with future promotions, offers and events.
21. The Participant acknowledges and agrees that, by submitting/uploading a photograph in connection with the promotion, he/she thereby grants an exclusive, irrevocable, perpetual and royalty-free license to the Promoter to use and reproduce that photograph. The Promoter is committed to protecting the privacy of participants and Homeowners. Any personal information collected in connection with this promotion will not be disclosed at any time and will only be used in connection to the competition.
22. The Participant warrants to the Promoter that any submitted/uploaded photograph is the result of his/her original work and that the use and reproduction of the photograph does not and will not infringe any intellectual property rights owned by third parties. The Participant agrees to indemnify the Promoter in full in relation to any losses, costs or expenses which may be suffered by it in connection with any breach of this warranty by the Participant.
23. The winners certificate will display the name as per the entry.
